Meet the Armadillo Team

Louise Ellis-Barrett

Editor-in-Chief

Louise, a qualified children's librarian and book editor is currently completing a PhD. This means she spends her days buried in historical archives, her nights buried in books!

When not doing this she can be found walking the dogs she looks after or in the garden with the chickens!

As Editor-in-Chief Louise has responsibility for selecting and guiding the content of the magazine and its varied associated offshoots!

Simon Barrett

Web Editor

Simon, is a Secondary School Teacher of Religion, Philosophy & Ethics as well as Sociology and Health & Social Care.

He is very serious about his reading (often to be found stealing books from Louise), accompanying this with plentiful tea and cake.

Simon is responsible for making sure the website is updated and ready for each new edition.
