Louise Ellis-Barrett

Editor-in-Chief

Louise works full time as a Librarian at the British Museum.

 

She balances this with being a part-time PhD student (Egyptology) and of course a book lover extraordinaire. It is unusual to find her without her nose in a book!

As Editor-in-Chief Louise has responsibility for selecting and guiding the content of the Magazine as well as running its varied associated offshoots!

Jess Zahra

Jess Zahra is an English Literature student, based in Hampshire, UK.

 

A self-confessed dedicated Brontë and Carter fanatic Jess is also a lover of big, dark sweeping tales!

Jess' role is to edit and share our weekly blogs.

Simon Barrett

Web Editor

Simon Barrett, is a Secondary School Teacher of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics.

 

Simon is very serious about his reading (often to be found stealing books from Louise), accompanying this with plentiful tea and cake.

Simon is responsible for making sure the website is updated and ready for each new edition.

Sarah Lovell

Illustrations Editor

UK- based illustrator Sarah has loved drawing for as long as she can remember, studying art to degree level. Inspirations include nature, wildlife and magic, and her children. She runs 'Sarah Lovell Art' designing cards, prints and colouring books.

 

Sarah's dream is to write and illustrate her own children's books. 

Sarah is responsible for the vibrant new images in the Magazine.
