Goth & Froth is the new website for Marcus Sedgwick’s Raven Mysteries series. Launched in October to coincide with the publication of the second book in the series for younger readers the site takes visitors on a guided tour of the Castle Otherhand.
Guided by Edgar the Raven meet the strange and spooky Valevine family, become a fan club member, play games, download materials and read Edgar’s blog.
A bespoke page on the Borders website features a competition open until the end of the year.
The prize?
A chance to attend the next recording of a Raven Mysteries audiobook, meeting author Marcus Sedgwick and actor Martin Jarvis, and the opportunity to take an active role in the recording studio.
Perform A Poem the new interactive poetry performance website for primary schools has been launched. It is a collaboration between Book Trust, London Grid for Learning and Michael Rosen. Offering video tips, activity sheets links and other resources for teachers it is aimed at London schools but other Learning Grids should contact Booktrust for information on hosting the site.
