Armadillo Credits

Armadillo magazine is an independent review publication, which exists to promote children's books through reviews and articles. It was founded by award-winning author Mary Hoffman in 1999 and in 2004 moved on to the internet. Armadillo is published four times a year in March, June, September and December.

Armadillo is, from the Spring issue 2009, edited by Louise Ellis-Barrett and managed by librarian and web designer David Bevington. It still has reviews and features written by some of the leading lights of the childrens book world including Adèle Geras, Julia Jarman, Linda Newbery and Celia Rees. The original Armadillo image was created and donated by Jane Ray.

Armadillo acknowledges The Bookseller as its principle source of Book World and Award News
